Higher Diploma in Quality Leadership
Price is the basic Diploma price of £3100 + VAT** (assuming that you are enrolling for both the Diploma and the Higher Diploma in a single payment) plus the 3 additional units at 3 x £350 + VAT**. If you are adding the Higher Diploma later then the fees are either £350 plus VAT individually or the total discounted to £1049 plus VAT when paying in full.

This qualification is an extension of the Diploma but includes 3 extra units, Hoshin Kanri implementation, conducting a ‘Gemba Walk’, Quality related first and second party complete supply chain auditing and Facilitating, Mentoring and Coaching for full Company wide implementation of advance Quality based organisational transformation.
This course presupposes that the intending student has already completed our Diploma in Quality Leadership. If this is not the case but they have successfully completed the now withdrawn CQI Diploma, exemptions will be given for any Units which match those in our Diploma but Units 5, 7, and 9 of our Diploma will need to be completed as these do not appear in the old CQI programme. This is necessary to be able to satisfactorily complete our Higher Diploma.

COURSE BREAKDOWN
The Higher Diploma in Quality Leadership incorporates the courses in the Diploma together with a further 3 e-Learning units. Designed to be viewed from either PC, laptop, tablet or mobile phone, you can study any time of day and pick up from where you left off. Following on from the Diploma, the Higher Diploma in Quality Leadership provides the professional credibility, knowledge and skills you will need to continue making a difference in your work life. The additional units are:
HDIP10 Designing a Hoshin Kanri based Business Management System
HDIP12 Management Systems Auditing and surveillance covering both 1st and 2nd Party situations
Students will find a totally new unit unfamiliar in Quality Courses entitled Facilitating, Coaching and Mentoring for Quality. The purpose of this unit is to begin the process of providing the quality specialists to assist in the development of others in their organisations from the CEO though to line people. However, this unit is not the end but the beginning of a totally new journey for those who wish to.
We have left ‘Auditing’ until last because in this Unit the student is required to carry out an audit of his whole company and its supply chain (within the context of the time available) against what he/she has learned in the entire course. They will then prepare a ‘Closing Meeting’ which they will present to us but they can imagine it is to their own Management Team. They can of course do just that as well and could find themselves involved in real life implementation!
COURSE FORMAT
Distance Learning – Part time
The Diploma is entirely e-Learning based with unlimited Tutor support. The 12 units in this course are tutor supported and are externally examined. All units are tested by the submission of a 4,500 word assignment.
The assignments are based on the content of the Quality Fundamentals units which are provided as part of the course but have 3 objectives:
To further reinforce knowledge of the content.
To make the intellectual link between course content and its application in the students work environment.
To develop the student’s ability to conduct subject research.
These assignments may be submitted at any time of the year and marking.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
This is the Higher Diploma level course for anyone with the Diploma qualification.

Higher Diploma in Quality Leadership
The total fee for this course inclusive of the Diploma in Quality Leadership course is £1049 + VAT**. Fees include access to the Diploma plus 3 additional units and tutor support. There are no other charges, registration fees or membership requirements.
However, the course can be purchased unit by unit for £350 plus VAT** per unit.
** VAT at current rates applies to all students or their employers within the UK and European Union.
Overseas students
Outside of the EU, VAT still applies to individuals purchasing the courses themselves but not in the case where the courses are paid for by registered Companies. These are not our rules unfortunately, but it is the legal situation.
