QUALITY MASTER CLASSES
This series of Units follows on from the Diploma in Quality Leadership and the Higher Diploma in Quality Leadership.
It is based on the same premise that Quality is everybody's Job. The two Diploma qualifications were designed for the Quality Professional or specialist.
However, if quality is to become 'everybody's job', it necessarily follows that that they will need to know what they should do different from what they are doing now.
The Quality Specialist having completed the course Facilitating, Coaching and Mentoring for Quality should have the skills to help but will also need educational and training aids to enable them to do so. These will need to be tailor made for each Function in addition to the general purpose Quality Fundamentals course which is applicable to all levels. Hence the following Courses.
Master Class Courses
These vary in length with the largest being the course for Functional Managers
Top Management Team. This assumes as do all of the other courses in this series, that top management will have viewed the e-learning course Quality Fundamentals before commencing here.
The specific content is similar in content to the course Dip012 Hoshin Kanri but is more detailed in some respects and includes other materials relevant to top management.
Finance Managers. Prerequisit - e-learning course Quality Fundamentals. In this course the range of concepts related to Quality Related Costs is included, their implications and the concept of the hidden factory.
Functional Managers. Prerequisit - e-learning course Quality Fundamentals. This level includes all of the concepts usually referred to in the West as 'Lean Six Sigma', Mandatory work groups, voluntary work groups such as Quality Circles, Kaizen etc.
The workforce. Prerequisit - e-learning course Quality Fundamentals. In this Unit participants will be taken through the project by project improvement process and work a project during the learning process.
Further courses. DHI can if required create bespoke courses to meet specific needs.
